Internet Safety

This term children focused on internet safety. We shared our experiences of keeping safe and what to do when online. We spoke about being scammed and how we have made friends with people we do not know. We went through key rules on how to protect ourselves online and to always trust a trusted grown-up if they feel something is not right. Children enjoyed doing work around this subject. They participated in role play, creating posters and watching educational videos.

YR1 and YR2 International Food Week British Afternoon Tea

Our class was filled with joy and excitement as we celebrated British Afternoon Tea Day in true traditional style!
Children dressed up in lovely traditional British clothes. The class was beautifully decorated with bunting, tablecloths in the colours on the Union Jack, and pretty teacups.
The highlight of the day was, of course, the afternoon tea! The tables were full of classic British treats like scones with jam and cream, cucumber sandwiches, fairy cakes, and shortbread biscuits. Everyone sipped on hot chocolate (or juice!) from proper cups, just like in a real British tea party.
The atmosphere was full of fun. Children learned about the history of afternoon tea, and practiced their best manners and polite conversation. It was a magical, memorable day where children experienced a wonderful British tradition.

Year 3 and 4 – Science Experiment

Students explored the fascinating world of plant biology by observing seed germination in controlled conditions. Using cotton and water, they carefully monitored daily changes, gaining firsthand insight into the plant life cycle and the essential elements required for healthy growth.
