As part of Anti-bullying awareness day, the children were invited to wear their favourite odd socks to school and to express themselves and celebrate their individuality. The odd socks also symbolises that everyone is different and at Evergreen we value everyone for who they are. Children were encouraged to ‘Make a noise’ throughout the week and come together to have discussions about what bullying means to us, how banter can turn into something more hurtful, and what we can do to stop bullying. Together, we can make a difference and take a stand against bullying.
- We sorted mean, rude and bullying acts.
- We wrote letters explaining what is bullying.
- We created ant bullying posters.
- We wore odd socks on odd socks day.
