Pioneering Personalities
For our Pioneer Personalities, Early Years focused on our Mum’s. We spoke about how important our Mum’s are and all the things they do for us.
The children drew pictures of their mum. 
Reception children put their writing into practice by writing sentences of ‘My mum helps me ….’
The children designed African Necklaces and Thank You cards for their mothers.
We played games with our Mum’s outside in the playground!
were invited to come and talk to the children about what they do to help us. They also spoke about their role as a mother within the family.
Mum’s were invited to spend the afternoon with their children. The children loved decorating cupcakes and biscuits with their mum’s.
