Children then sorted magnetic and non-magnetic materials into PE hoops and used magnets for the ‘Paper Clip Dance ‘. Children then took part in a Treasure Hunt and collected facts about Al Battani. They then wrote about Al Battani and his works. Our final experiment was making Lunar and Solar Eclipses.
Year 5 and 6
Children investigated various experiments including water resistance and air resistance. The children successfully created their own parachute and they also created science posters.
The Mad Science show came to our school as part of science week to do a science show based on the element of Air pressure for the children. The children enjoyed the show, and they were very excited to be part of it.
The next day, they had another amazing day of amazing costumes designed and made by the children to celebrate the end of Science week at Evergreen Primary.
