Nursery and Reception pupils had a wild time on a visit to Battersea Park Zoo. They learned about the habitats of petting zoo animals and what they like to eat.
The children were surprised to discover that some animals, like the nocturnal ones, sleep during the day. They also got to see the animals in their different habitats and were able to touch and handle some of them. Additionally, they learned about the importance of hay and how it contributes to the animals’ well-being.
