Book week EYFS, Yr5, and Yr6

We’re so excited to celebrate Book Week! The children are having a blast with all sorts of fun activities centered around reading and storytelling.

We kicked off the week with a fantastic visit from the Year 5 and 6 students who joined us for a special reading session. The children also enjoyed a lively interactive storytelling session from Perform for Schools, featuring the delightful tale of “The Enormous Turnip.” Plus, everyone took part in the exciting “Ready, Steady, Read” competition!

As we wrap up this wonderful week, we had a fun book swap and a book sale for everyone to enjoy. And to top it all off, on Friday, the children got to dress up as their favorite characters from any book they love! What a fantastic way to celebrate our love for reading!
