Year 3 and 4 students enjoyed Science Week with an exciting and interactive science show. The event focused on exploring chemical reactions and how we can identify them. Through hands-on demonstrations, the children discovered key signs of a chemical reaction, such as colour changes, fizzing, temperature changes, and the formation of new substances. Highlights included making slime, observing a “volcano” experiment, and exploring density, working with magic mud, and diving into hands-on chemical reactions using bicarb, lemon juice, and bromo blue. The show sparked curiosity, encouraged hands-on participation, and inspiring young minds to think like scientists.
